Jute Twine Crocheted Belt Pattern

Materials
- 400ft. all purpose 3ply Jute Twine (heavy weight)
- Size F crochet hook
- New or repurposed belt buckle
Gauge: 8 stitches and 7 rows equal 2”.
Finished size is 1 7/8 of an inch wide by length desired.
Pattern:
- To Begin: Ch. 9
- Row One: SC in third ch. from hook. * Ch. 1, Skip 1, SC in next. Repeat from * across. Ch. 2 and turn. (7)
- Row Two: Skip first stitch. SC in next (the first ch. space of previous row.) * Ch. 1, skip next, SC in next (next ch. Space). Repeat from * across, ending with 1 SC in last. Chain 2 and turn.
- Row Three: 1 SC in first (into last sc of previous row) * Ch. 1, skip next, SC in next ch space. Repeat from * across. Ch 2 and turn.
- Repeat rows two and three to desired length. Tie off, leaving a long tail.
- Attach your belt buckle by folding the end of the length, roughly two rows, over the buckle and using the tail to sew it in.
